A wrap-up meeting of the Joint ADB-Australia-Canada Review Mission was held last July 30, to discuss the results of the assessment of the Capacity Development Technical Assistance (CDTA) for Strengthening Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in the Philippines. The CDTA aims to improve government capacity to promote, develop, and implement PPP projects through capacity building activities, the Project Development and Monitoring Facility (PDMF), coordination with development partners, and support for PPP reforms.
Economic Planning Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan stressed that to further strengthen the PDMF Guidelines, rules of thumb must be established based on lessons gained from experiences and international practices.
