The CIIP contains public infrastructure projects funded by the Government through sources such as ODA loans, General Appropriations Act (GAA), Corporate Budget, PPPs/JVs, and those funded purely by the private sector (i.e., private-led energy projects, among others).

The updated CIIP (2013-2016 and beyond) includes both ongoing and proposed public infrastructure projects of all government agencies/instrumentalities – including public infrastructure projects National Government Agencies (NGAs) and Government-Owned and/or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), as well as those NG-supported Local Government Unit (LGU) projects – as well as those to be implemented through public-private partnerships (PPPs) / joint venture (JV) agreements, and/or by the private sector.

OBJECTIVE:
The CIIP aims to provide a picture of investments in public infrastructure to be used as basis for infrastructure planning, programming, budgeting, monitoring and policy development.
