The joint project by the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC) and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) will be entering its third phase of implementation in the Philippines. Titled, “Strengthening the Capacities of Latin America and Asia to Develop and Improve Labor Training Systems and to Protect Workers against Unemployment,” the project is now looking to integrate all the inputs from previous consultations and provide direction on how the proposals on unemployment insurance and training systems will be moved forward.
