Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) delegates led by Vice President Tochiyuki Kuronayagi paid a courtesy call to Economic Planning Secretary and National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Director-General Arsenio M. Balisacan last March 5 at NEDA Pasig. During the meeting, VP Kuronayagi expressed JICA’s desire to contribute to the country’s peace building efforts and its willingness to participate in the Bangsamoro Development Plan and in the formation of the Bangsamoro Project Management Office.
The JICA VP earned his diploma in Community Development from the University of the Philippines Graduate School in 1990 and was later on assigned in the Philippines as Deputy Resident Representative for the JICA Philippine Office.
