MANILA -The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) retained its ISO 9001:2015 Certification after it successfully hurdled the first Surveillance Audit on August 8, 2019.

The certification is for the Appraisal of Program/Project Proposals and Facilitation of the Investment Coordination Committee (ICC) Action at the Central Office, which affirms the agency’s programming services as compliant with international standards of service.

“We will continue to improve our systems and processes to deliver efficient and quality service to our stakeholders in the public and private sectors,” Secretary of Socioeconomic Planning Ernesto M. Pernia said.

The audit was conducted by SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc., which undertakes regular audits of Management Systems to ensure they are maintained and continued to meet the objectives of the organization and the expectations of its stakeholders.

NEDA began its ISO Certification journey in December 2016 and culminated in the ISO 9001:2015 Certification on September 12, 2018.

NEDA’s ISO Certificate is posted at the Central Office’s lobby and on the NEDA website’s Transparency Seal in compliance with Administrative Order No. 25, IATF Memorandum Circular No. 2018-1, dated May 28, 2018.
