Economic Planning Secretary and NEDA Director-General Arsenio M. Balisacan (left) met with Hon. Guadalupe Palomeque de Taboada (right), Bolivian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea and Special Envoy of the President of G-77 plus China to five countries, on April 30, 2014 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Makati City.
The officials discussed the upcoming G-77 plus China Special Summit Meeting in June which will be hosted by Bolivia, the current chair of the Group. The summit will also celebrate the Group’s 50th anniversary since its inception on June 15, 1964. Secretary Balisacan will represent President Benigno Aquino III during the summit.
In the photo, Secretary Balisacan receives from the Bolivian Ambassador an Aymara painting by Roberto Mamani Mamani, one of Bolivia’s highly recognized artists.
