Throughout my professional career, I have always considered it a distinct honor and privilege to serve my country, especially at no less than the highest levels of public administration and across several Presidents.

As our nation continues its full recovery and advances on its journey to prosperity, we are confronted with rapidly changing market conditions and much uncertainty in the global environment.

Challenged yet unfazed, I commit to fulfill my duties and responsibilities as a member of the Marcos Administration’s Economic Team in leading the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) once more towards the realization of the 8-Point Socioeconomic Agenda and implementation of the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, which is set to be approved this month.

I would like to thank the Commission on Appointments headed by the Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri and the Committee on Tourism and Economic Development, headed by its chairperson Rep. Jose Gay G. Padiernos, for the trust.

As I subscribe to NEDA’s core values of integrity, professionalism, and excellence, I commit to lead the agency to the best of my ability in performing its mission to formulate continuing, coordinated, and fully integrated socioeconomic policies, plans, and programs to enable and empower every Filipino to enjoy a matatag, maginhawa, at panatag na buhay.
